Our regional office network is supported by a manufacturing hub located in Somerset as part of our 60,000ft head office complex. Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, and we act as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, supporting Tier 1 contractor clients in subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
Purpose of the Role: To oversee and manage a team of electricians on multiple programmes across the South East region.
The Role: This is a permanent full-time position (40hrs per week, Monday to Friday). Paid hourly with overtime; travel time is paid door-to-door on top of contracted and overtime hours. A company van with fuel card is provided.

Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards
* Ensure all items are installed to the highest standards, in line with the project quality plan and inspection & test plans
* Promote and follow STAR dynamic risk assessment; stop work if unsafe circumstances arise
* Coach and mentor Electricians, Electrical Improvers/Mates and Apprentices
* Promote Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers and clients
* Promote positive health and well-being among peers
* Act professionally and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining the company’s positive reputation
Requirements
* ECS Gold Card (essential)
* SSSTS / SMSTS (essential)
* Experience as an Electrical Supervisor, site managing electrical projects
* Experience within water / heavy industrial industries
* Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification
* Fit to work medical (can be completed on starting employment)
