Specialist Family and Systemic Psychotherapist

South Staffordshire CAMHS are developing our psychological professions workforce. We are pleased to be able to recruit Family & Systemic Psychotherapist posts to each of our specialist CAMHS (Cannock and Seisdon).
Our multi‑disciplinary teams value Family Therapy and Systemic practice. A key role for the post‑holder will be to work alongside Systemic and Family Therapy trained colleagues and Professional Leads to support the ongoing development of systemic practice within community CAMHS.
We are also happy to receive enquiries from recently qualified Family Therapists seeking a Band 7‑8a development post opportunity (minimum 0.54 WTE, 21.5 hours per week).
Main duties of the job
* Passionate about working with the children and young people seen in our community CAMHS services
* Collaborative in their approach to working with children, young people, their families/carers and networks
* Excited about the opportunity to contribute to service developments
* Keen to maximise what Family Therapy and Systemic Practice can deliver whilst also working with, and recognising the strengths of, the multi‑disciplinary team
* A qualified SFP or Family Therapy Supervisor (or eligible and able to attend training)

* Masters level qualification in family and systemic psychotherapy
* Evidence of continued CPD
* Doctoral Training
Experience
* Experience of specialist systemic assessment, formulation and intervention with clients across a range of care settings, including community settings
* Experience of clinical supervision and supporting the work of other clinical staff providing systemically-informed care and treatment
* Experience of working in services for children, young people and their families where multidisciplinary working was embraced as part of service delivery.
* Experience of working with people with mental health difficulties, eating disorders and/or Autism who are identified as presenting behaviour which poses risks or limitations to their quality of life.
