Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Chesterfield as they look to recruit a Part Time Credit Controller on a permanent basis.
The role is 21 hours a week and can be split over 3 or 4 days.
Responsibilities:
* Contact customers via phone, email, and letter to collect outstanding payments
* Monitor aged debt reports and take proactive steps to recover overdue amounts
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to resolve payment queries
* Accurately post and allocate receipts within the finance system
* Maintain clear, up-to-date records of all credit control activity
* Support continuous improvement of credit control processes
* Adhere to financial regulations and internal policies
* Assist the wider finance team with administrative and ad hoc tasks
Person Specification:
* Experience in credit control or debt recovery
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
* The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
