We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a new and ambitious analytics organisation. This is an opportunity to influence the design and build of a data platform from the ground up, shape technical direction and help establish how data is engineered at scale.
This role is not a generic integration job. You will be empowered to build robust, production-grade infrastructure and tools that support a wide range of analytical and operational use cases
What you’ll be doing
• Designing, building and maintaining data infrastructure, pipelines and tooling
• Defining architecture and standards from scratch
• Ensuring data quality, scalability and performance in a distributed environment
• Working closely with cross-discipline technical leaders to guide stack decisions
• Helping to mentor and shape future hires as the team grows
Who we’re looking for
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar (senior level)
• Strong technical skills in Python and SQL, and confidence across modern data stacks
• Experience with cloud platforms and orchestration tools is a plus
• Comfortable solving complex engineering problems and designing infrastructure
• Excellent communicator who can work across teams and remote settings
