Job Description:

This role is based in Erith for an experienced Mandarin Speaking Procurement and Sales Manager. If you have a food services background and a passion for food, then this is a lovely opportunity to join a well-established UK business that supplies supermarkets and restaurants with delicious new Asian and Asian-inspired recipes and products. This is a KEY ROLE in the Commercial and Operations department, overseeing procurement and sales of finished goods to ensure cost efficiency, supply chain stability, and sales growth. The role requires strong coordination between procurement, sales, and inventory management to drive business success.

Title: Mandarin Speaking Procurement and Sales Manager

Salary: up to 60K

Location: Erith

Hours: 40 hours per week

Work style: Fully office-based


Key Responsibilities

* Procurement Management: Develop and execute procurement plans, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality sourcing.
* Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement sales strategies to achieve targets while nurturing key customer relationships.
* Inventory Control: Monitor and optimize inventory levels to minimize risks and reduce costs.
* Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with procurement, sales, warehousing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze market and sales trends, provide actionable insights, and support decision-making.
* Compliance: Ensure all procurement and sales activities adhere to company policies and regulations.
* Performance Reporting: Regularly update the COO on business progress and KPIs.


Qualifications & Skills

* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in procurement & sales management, preferably in FMCG, retail, or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes, sales channel management, and inventory control.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
* Analytical mindset with strong commercial acumen.
* Fluent in English (written & spoken); Mandarin proficiency is required.
