This position is within the Global IS&D Operational team of the Enterprise Management Systems (EMS) and is responsible for supporting the daily functions of Marketing and Trading (M&T) Environment. The role will serve as a key contact for the business, collaborating with colleagues in London and Aberdeen to ensure secure and stable operations throughout the platform.
HBR M&T Support Specialist Requirements:
* Have knowledge in real-time markets, liquidity, exposures, and positions
* Bridge IS&D and the business with knowledge of trading apps, workflows, and market data feeds
* Familiarity with M&T platforms such as Trayport
* Knowledge and experience of Incident, Change and Problem Management (leverage ITIL process)
* Ability to troubleshoot issues, focusing on priorities to minimise business impact.
* Knowledge of regulatory obligations under EMIR and REMIT .
* Deliver continuous improvements to enable efficiency through real-time support and issue resolution
Experience:
* Oil and gas experience
* Trade execution systems support experience
* 3+ years technical experience: Sybase, Oracle, MS SQL, NO-SQL databases, Windows,
* Experience in global organisations leveraging cross-regional teams
* Detailed knowledge of the oil and gas trading lifecycle, focusing on front office technology
* Disaster recovery/BCP
* Regulatory audit requirements
Desirable Skills:
* ITIL
* AGILE methodology understanding to support 3rd party delivery
* Analytical methods to measure efficiency of products and processes
* Experience with cloud-based technologies and open-source tools
