Summary
REED/LTA are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join an SEN hub at a vibrant Preston-based primary school in Preston. This role requires experience in special educational needs (SEN), as you will be working with a class of 8 children with complex needs across various primary ages. The position is active and dynamic, under the guidance of a teacher, and offers the potential to extend throughout the academic year. Full-time 8.30am - 3.30pm.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly within a primary school setting.
* Understanding of the challenges faced by children with complex needs and the ability to adapt to these effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with children, staff, and parents.
* Energetic and enthusiastic approach, capable of meeting the physical demands of the role.
* Commitment to professional development and learning in the field of special education.
