Your tasks
1. To coordinate and manage application and development projects towards HUBER+SUHNER’s customers, including documentation
2. To provide a high level of support (technical, administrative, etc.) to our customers proposals, major quotes, contract reviews
3. To remain up to date with the latest techniques and technologies
4. To ensure that all relevant technical information, projects, etc. are communicated effectively throughout the organisation
5. To represent H + S at technical seminars and exhibitions
6. Assist in internal and external product training
7. Help generate new customer leads for sales force
8. Adhere to company policies and procedures
9. Authorisation limits as per company DOA
10. Make customer visits as necessary to gain knowledge about our customers applications provide Customer, Project support Proposes and quotes “fit for purpose” solutions
11. Handles technical inquiries (Non-Standard Inquiries)
12. Coordinates prototype and pre-series production products
13. Participates in development projects within HUBER+SUHNER
14. Handles customer complaints on products and solutions
15. Creation of customer and internal drawings and specifications
16. Provides support to Internal sales, External sales and Project teams on Communications market enquiries
17. Provide support to production Engineering for non-standard, new, complex product builds
18. Maintain good relationships with AG to ensure that new product releases are communicated throughout the corporation and that constructive feedback is relayed correctly
19. Any other ad hoc duties as and when necessary, sales support, training, etc
Your profile
20. Bachelor or Master degree in electrical / mechanical engineering
21. Profound knowledge of engineering methods
22. Advanced commercial education is of advantage, costing methods, marketing essentials etc.
23. Practical knowledge / experience and operational experience in mechanics / electronics
24. Entrepreneur mentality
25. Willingness to cooperate in international and cross-functional teams
26. Good communicator, open minded, good presentation skills
27. Good English and German language skills (written and spoken)
28. Solution oriented, organized, independent / self-sufficient and structured way of working
29. Resourceful, pro-active acting, resilient (to be able to cope with strain / with heavy workload), patient, flexible
30. Experience with working in international, intercultural and cross functional teams
31. Advanced education in business economics or finance topics
32. Knowledge of creativity techniques and analysis methods: Mind Mapping, Brain storming, Ishikawa, Turtle Diagram, 5 Why, etc.
33. Excellent general technical knowledge of HUBER+SUHNER products
34. Excellent planning and implementation skills
35. Good administration skills
36. Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
37. Proficient in specific industrial applications, such as Cable Builder
