Wood is currently recruiting for a Structural Integrity Engineer to support our client within the Operated Assets business in Aberdeen on a PAYE or Staff basis. This role offers hybrid working arrangements of 4 days in office and 1 working from home. LI-Hybrid The Role: Responsible for providing subject matter input and consultancy in support of project and client requirements Primary focus on the continuous running of equipment and machinery alongisde production and operations Using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), oversees routine operations and/or maintenance and organise repairs. Involved involved with control and monitoring devices and technology enabled systems. May improve production facilities, reduce breakdowns and associated costs and develop strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes A key aspect of this role is ensuring client satisfaction and requirements are met. A significant degree of planning and resource management, both people and equipment is required Designing the future. Transforming the world. Qualifications: Typically, minimum qualified to ISCED Level 5 (technical diploma / apprenticeship) or equivalent combination of qualifications and experience Knowledge, skills and experience: Maintenance data builds and data optimisation projects Development and application of qualitative risk-based maintenance tools Maintenance, repairs, and spares strategy development Best practice in asset management through Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Project management experience (desired) Personal attributes: Intellectually capable, can apply maintenance consulting theory Diligent and dependable in consistent application of established process Professional demeanour with appropriate interpersonal skills Exceptional written communication [technical report writing] IT Literate (Excel / Word) Flexible - able to comply / adapt to company / client requirements Ability working to and delivering to deadlines Ability to work on own initiative, and provide effective trouble shooting Well organised, observant, good interpersonal and communication skills Display both good judgment and leadership qualities Ability to work with timelines/targets Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required Excellent interpersonal organisational, communication and team building skills Role model Wood’s values & behaviour
