Veterinary Surgeon – Onsite

Location: Ridgeway, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (Part Time considered)

Up to £55,000 (DOE) (FTE) (Full Time equivalent)
What We Offer

Responsibilities
- Full‑time 40 hours per week, with a 1:6 Saturday rota. Some sole charge may be required at Saturday mornings.
- Primary care consultations and surgery – current caseload 50% consults, 50% surgery.
- Primary care OOH consultations, member practice case transfers, inpatient care, medical work‑ups and surgeries.
- No on‑call or OOH requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years veterinary experience.
- Strong medical knowledge and routine and emergency surgery experience.
- Clinical autonomy and ability to handle a varied caseload.
- Good communication skills and a natural client‑care orientation.
- Mentor and team‑playing attitude.
- Ability to develop and lead on different case types.
