Interim Reporting Accountant – Life Insurance | 12‑month Contract
I’m supporting a leading life insurer during a particularly busy period within Group Finance. They’re looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Accountant to strengthen their financial reporting team and support delivery across group and statutory reporting.
Key Focus Areas
* Supporting Group Finance with monthly, quarterly and year‑end close
* Assisting in the preparation and review of IFRS financial statements
* Contributing to consolidated group results and internal management reporting
* Supporting audit deliverables and responding to external auditor queries
* Enhancing reporting processes, controls and documentation
* Collaborating across finance teams to ensure accurate and timely outputs
What They’re Looking For
* Solid technical understanding of IFRS (including IFRS 17 beneficial but not essential)
* Experience in group reporting, consolidations or statutory accounts
* Insurance (life is beneficial)
* Ability to work at pace during busy reporting cycles
* Someone who can integrate quickly and add immediate value
12‑month interim role on £80,000–£100,000 FTC or £500–£600/day (inside IR35)
