Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the processes for planning, scheduling, purchasing, and shipping/receiving while also working to develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain process that is sustainable for growth.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage and support the departments to procure materials, schedule sub-assemblies, final assemblies, outside manufacturing services, and to receive and ship deliveries.
2. Identify, recommend, and implement short and mid-term improvements to current processes and reporting.
3. Build relationships within the company and with external parties, including suppliers.
4. Implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy.
5. Optimize procurement and inventory strategies to align with current sales and operations plans.
6. Develop and implement an integrated planning and scheduling approach that optimizes capacity and improves on-time metrics.
7. Analyze historical data and market trends to forecast future demand.

Requirements:
Education – Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree (preferably in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field) or equivalent.
* 8 years of progressive experience in Planning with a strong background in Production Control, Warehousing, and Materials Management in a manufacturing environment.
* 3 years of Management experience.
* Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
* ASCM/APICS certification is a plus.
Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities, and Training Needs:
* Excellent organizational, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to manipulate database data in spreadsheets using advanced Excel concepts.
