I am exclusively partnering with a leading FMCG Manufacturer who are looking for a Head of HSE & Sustainability to lead their health, safety, environmental and sustainability strategy across their operational sites. This is a high-profile leadership role, reporting at a senior level, with the autonomy and backing to shape the future of the company’s culture and impact.
With an established Health & Safety team already in place, this role will have a strong emphasis on driving the Environmental and Sustainability strategy across the business. It’s an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in this field who are ready to step up into a senior, autonomous leadership position with real influence and impact
The Opportunity
* Manage and deliver the company’s HSE & sustainability vision, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation.
* Lead and conduct scheduled environmental audits across all sites.
* Oversee EIA assessments and ensure environmental permit compliance, including all reporting.
* Manage and control the department budget.
* Maintain compliance with ISO 14001, ESOS, CCA and other relevant certification frameworks.
* Provide technical support on wastewater treatment and environmental management.
* Ensure the business remains accreditation-ready for all environmental, sustainability and health & safety standards.
About You
* Proven leadership in HSE and sustainability
* Strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation, environmental permits, and ISO 14001.
* Experience working closely with regulatory bodies and certification schemes.
* Strategic thinker with hands-on delivery capability.
* Confident communicator and influencer at all levels.
