The CSR Group are currently recruiting a sustainability & Quality Advisor for our client based in Magherafelt. This Main contractor are seeking to add to a sustainable HSEQ team and the successful candidate will report directly to the Sustainability and Quality Manager. Salary £35-45k Responsibilities: Working proactively within the team responsible for compliance, setting standards and assurance against relevant business Sustainability and Environmental criteria. Monitoring, reviewing and reporting on company Resource Efficiency and Natural Environment Data. Providing advice to Site Teams / business Departments on Sustainability and Environmental topics. Compliance with all relevant Company Policies, Procedures and guidance for Environmental Management. Promote continuous improvement of environmental / sustainability and Quality performance on specific projects. Awareness of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001; awareness of Net Zero Carbon to assist with implementation and ensuring we are on track to meet our set targets and KPIs. Assist in the development and implementation, of Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and site-specific control measures. Assist with providing monthly performance report to clients for individual projects. Ensure compliance in line with current environmental legislation and best practice. Advise on the preparation of environmental risk assessments and method statements. Ensure that appropriate projects environmental performance is monitored, and reports provided; this includes handling and reviewing all carbon data to cover waste, water, energy and fuel use across Scope 1,2 & 3. Monitor, review and report on business carbon data using SustainIQ platform, across all Scopes for compliance to Strategic Energy and Carbon / Energy Saving Opportunity Scheme. Carry out monthly and annual Internal audits, both site and office based. Assist in the development of environmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Manage / assist with external audits as and when necessary. Ensure consistency of quality and environmental standards across the group. Awareness of Sustainability Assessments to include BREEAM/DREAM/LEED and providing guidance and assistance to site teams on these assessments as well as reviewing the evidence before submittal to Assessor.
