Purpose of the position: As ROV Support Engineer, you will be part of the ROIS Business Line within the ROV team, providing technical and operational support for ROV systems to ensure all activities align with Saipem’s policies.
Responsibilities:
* Support activities related to loading out ROV systems, checking and preparing workshop spares, preparing inventories, and conducting system pre-mob checks.
* Coordinate re-certification activities for ROV systems and spare parts shipments offshore.
* Process received offshore MRs and assist with expediting, including clarifications on part queries.
* Monitor and review ROV maintenance and technical reports, addressing any issues identified.
* Ensure all critical spares checks are completed and address shortfalls promptly.
* Follow up on Damage/Malfunction/Failure (DMF) reports from ROV systems.
What are we looking for?
Education: Engineering degree or relevant HND/HNC.
Experience: 3-5 years in ROV-related activities such as Mechanical/Hydraulic workshop, onshore technical ROV role, offshore pilot technician, or supervisor.
Technical skills: Knowledge of ROV systems, ROV assets, and mechanical or hydraulic equipment refurbishments is a plus.
