We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced History teacher to join our outstanding History department at a leading Catholic school in Barking. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality History education to students across Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging History lessons to students across Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level.
* Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring they achieve excellent results.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning.
* Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of the History curriculum.
* Provide individual support and guidance to students, including those with additional needs.
* Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Degree in History or a related subject.
* Proven experience teaching History across Key Stages 3-5, including A-Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to create engaging and challenging learning experiences.
