Phlebotomy Supervisor
Cardiff & Vale UHB are looking for a Phlebotomy Supervisor to work between UHW and UHL hospital sites, 37.5 hours per week.
The department provides a phlebotomy service for Secondary Care, Out Patient Departments and Primary Care across Cardiff and the Vale.
Key responsibilities include supervising the day‑to‑day running of the phlebotomy team, ensuring timely staffing, supporting the management team in overall service delivery, managing service demands and changes, supporting the departmental training programme, assisting with concerns, audits, absence management, and stock management. The post will involve working as a phlebotomist when required.
To be successful you should have good communication and problem‑solving skills, be able to work under pressure, have a working knowledge of all phlebotomy procedures and be phlebotomy trained. Welsh language skills are desirable but not mandatory; Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome to apply.
