Overview
We are seeking to recruit a People Services Assistant for Job Share. In this role, you will provide a people-focused service to the business, including supporting day-to-day HR operations, resolving first-line employee queries, and contributing to project work and organisational change initiatives. You will also support managers by providing initial advice and guidance to help them carry out their people management responsibilities effectively. Alongside core operational responsibilities, the role will involve supporting continuous improvement across the People function. At Housing 21, we are committed to providing outstanding support to our colleagues and enhancing employee satisfaction. As a People Services Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering the wider People strategy. While the role offers flexibility with home-based working, the successful candidate may be required to work from our Birmingham Head Office as needed. Qualifications
* Experience working in an HR role with knowledge of HR processes, first-line employee relations, change management, advice, and guidance.
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and projects.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively.
* Flexible and adaptable to the needs of customers and the organisation.
* Experience of working with an HR system.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Understanding of confidentiality and data protection legislation.
* Educated to GCSE Grade C (Level 4) or above (or equivalent experience).
* CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent HR experience.
