The Role
As a Receptionist / Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for learners and visitors at our Derby centre. You’ll play a key role in providing administrative support, assisting with marketing for Derby and other site locations, and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Welcoming learners and visitors on site, providing friendly and professional front desk service
*
Supporting learners with wrap-around care after their course has ended
*
Handling incoming calls and emails
*
Carrying out general administrative duties (filing, data entry, scheduling, etc.)
*
Assisting with marketing and promotion for local and regional activities
*
Supporting events, meetings, and community activities when required
*
Contributing to a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or admin role
*
Excellent communication skills — comfortable speaking with people face to face and over the phone
*
Strong organisational and time-management skills
*
Confident using Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
*
Positive attitude, friendly, and professional approach
