HGV Class 2 Driver – Trunking and Store Delivery – CoatbridgePeople Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's growing transport operation in Coatbridge and the surrounding areas.This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers who are looking for stability, great earning potential, and long-term progression.This role would suit applicants looking for a role as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, or Truck Driver .Shifts:• Monday to Friday (Saturday work available)Rates of Pay:• £15.58 – £20.73 per hourBenefits:As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates (PAYE – holidays accrued separately)• Ongoing work with full training and support• Weekly pay• Immediate starts available• Company discounts after the qualifying period• Staff canteen and free on-site parking• Employee wellbeing programmeDay-to-Day Duties:As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):• Safely operating and driving Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations• Completing trunking and store deliveries• Completing loading and unloading tasks with care and accuracy• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects• Adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork• Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staffEssential Skills:To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Licence• A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD codes)• A reliable, professional, and punctual attitude• Good communication and customer service skills• A strong understanding of road safety and compliance• The ability to work effectively with a Driver's MateDesirable Experience:• Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience• Experience handling large or bulky goods• Strong customer interaction and service skillsTraining:• Full industry-related training provided• Ongoing support and development throughout the assignmentApply:If you are ready to join a respected logistics business offering strong pay, flexibility, and genuine opportunities for growth, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
