An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the the Renault Truck Commercials Network – RTC in Faversham, Kent
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.
Main Duties:
Shifts: – 40 hour week
1. Hourly rate is up to £21 pr hr negotiable
2. Early Shift 06:00 – 14:30 | Late Shift 13:30 – 22:00
3. Alternate Saturday’s 06.00-12.00
4. Extra payments for Saturday mornings, Standby and Call Out
Responsibilities summary:
5. Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps
6. Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications
7. Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions
8. Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policy
9. Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing
Knowledge:
10. Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry
11. Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.
12. The application of Standard Times
13. Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role
14. An appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their business
15. Technical product knowledge
Required Competences
16. City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology – HGV or LCV
17. To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed
18. To be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome
19. To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions
20. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
