Lake View Veterinary Centre

Lake View Veterinary Centre is a group of small animal practices based in Northamptonshire, with three sites: the main practice in Thrapston and branches in Rushden and Burton Latimer. Cambridge and Milton Keynes are an easy drive away, while London is just a short train journey from nearby Huntingdon station. The area offers excellent access to surrounding countryside and green spaces—perfect for relaxing and enjoying your days off.

We have a dedicated and experienced team of 5 Vets, 6 RVNs, 2 SVNs, plus a fantastic support staff. Our team is friendly, collaborative, and enjoys working together. We handle a varied caseload, with a strong focus on thoroughly working up cases and providing continuity of care for clients, patients, and clinicians alike. We have a Vet currently working towards a dermatology certificate.

Our purpose-built practice features top‑of‑the‑range facilities and equipment, including a dental suite with digital X‑ray, ultrasound with color Doppler, K‑Lasers, endoscopy, a full in‑house IDEXX laboratory, and gold‑standard anaesthesia with Humphrey ADE circuits, multiparameter monitors, patient warming, oxygen generators, and more.

Enjoy a welcoming environment with structured support and flexibility to suit your lifestyle: 40 hours per week, with weekday shifts between 08:30 am and 19:00 pm. Saturday mornings are on a rota basis, no more than 1 in 3 working 08:30 am – 12:00 pm. A basic flat is available above our Rushden practice to assist with accommodation if required, although transport is required to reach the Thrapston site.

Lake View’s Director of Practice and Clinical Services is a Regional Coach for the Graduate Academy programme and has extensive experience supporting new graduates. Our other highly experienced vets also enjoy mentoring and providing guidance to those at the start of their careers.
