HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity (Leicester, Leicestershire) People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity roles based in Leicester, Leicestershire. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 to 15:00 Rates of Pay • £15.75 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Weekly pay • Ongoing, full-time work • Immediate starts available • Training provided • Temp-to-perm opportunity Day-to-Day Duties • Driving and operating HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of water stock (handball and some heavy lifting required) • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and inspections • Ensuring all loads are safely secured before departure • Adhering to traffic laws and working time regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Minimum six months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Maximum of six penalty points (minor offences only) • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking • Good communication and teamwork skills • Strong understanding of road transport and safety regulations Desirable Experience • Previous commercial multi-drop delivery experience • Experience working in logistics or distribution environments Training Provided • Full industry-related training with ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
