A forward-thinking Bristol-based organisation is seeking a Senior Data Specialist to join their growing analytics and insights team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with diverse datasets, collaborating with clients, and using data to drive informed decisions.
The Role
You’ll lead on delivering large-scale data projects for a wide range of well-known clients, ensuring their information is processed, analysed, and presented with accuracy and insight. Working closely with account managers and key stakeholders, you’ll manage complex datasets and help shape data strategies that support high-value outcomes.
You’ll be using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, and Alteryx to collect, cleanse, automate, and visualise data — transforming complexity into clarity.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing trusted relationships with key clients through clear communication and data-led insight.
Managing end-to-end data workflows, ensuring accuracy and consistency across projects.
Building engaging reports and dashboards that help clients understand and act on their data.
Supporting the refinement of internal data processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
Providing expert advice on data handling and performance improvement.
About You
You’ll have proven experience in a data-focused role, ideally involving large or complex datasets. You’re confident using Excel (including advanced formulas and Power Query), Power BI, SQL, and Alteryx, and you take pride in delivering high-quality outputs.
You’ll also demonstrate:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Confidence engaging with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
A meticulous eye for detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Salary: £42,000 – £45,000 per year
Contract: Permanent, full time, flexible 8-hour days
