Purpose of the role: As Short Term Let Sales Co-ordinator you will be an active, contributing member of the short term let team and handle both short term and summer stay emails and converting to potential viewings, if requested and bookings using the sales process, along with using internal trackers to keep up to date group leads and enquiries and arranging the successful booking of these. Reporting to the STL Team Leader, you will handle both short term and summer stay aspects of the business throughout the year. You will be responsible for ensuring your enquiries are followed up using all routes for contacting and converting to a booking in line with the sales process. Along with keeping internal enquiry trackers up to date and trackers confirming secured revenue for groups. The student experience is at the forefront of everything we do, so you'll be passionate about delivering top customer service. Accountabilities/Responsibilities Managing all enquiries from communication channels including phone, email and web Converting sales leads into viewing appointments and bookings Delivering daily and weekly targets including conversion tracking Updating all databases accurately to allow for effective analysis Liaise with the property teams regarding local sales activity and ensure they have all the tools required locally to drive lead conversion Comply with Health and Safety working practice in accordance with the company’s policy To be flexible and work effectively with other colleagues Ensure all enquiries are logged and tracked Demonstrate a clear knowledge of the properties and keeping up to date with all activity throughout the year Ensure deadlines are met At times you may be required to participate in other elements of the Short Term Lets team work & role. Skills Must have very strong written English skills for communication with customers. Ability to work with minimum supervision and to tight deadlines. Ability to work as part of a team. Excellent admin, organisational skills and time management skills. Negotiating skills. Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Ability to achieve goals and targets within timescales.
