It provides Acute, Primary, Community, Mental Health and Learning Disabilities services via General and Community Hospitals, Health Centres, GP's, Dentists, Pharmacists and Optometrists and other sites.

Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (10 sessions)

Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Dermatology service based at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli. We are looking for two motivated and committed individuals who will provide a high quality Dermatology service.
The dermatology service in Hywel Dda works closely with Swansea Bay University Health Board and Aneurin Bevan University Health Board to underpin services to create sustainable solutions as per recommendations of the Planned Care Dermatology Board in 2019.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the provision and delivery of a first class clinical service.
2. Provide effective leadership to all staff engaged in the specialty.
3. Sustain and develop teaching and research wherever appropriate.
4. Conduct clinical practice in accordance with contractual requirements and within the parameters of the Health Boards service plans.
5. Maintain the confidence of business plans and development strategies formulated for the specialty or the Health Board.
6. Core clinical expertise in Dermatology.
7. Experience and knowledge of running a sub-specialty service.
8. Leadership and team building skills as well as working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
9. Support and train multidisciplinary teams.
10. Deliver care in the community alongside primary health care and social care teams.
11. Participate in CPD including Audit.
You are expected to maintain your professional development for Revalidation. A Teaching and Training Role for medical undergraduates and postgraduates. Educational Supervisor role to Junior and Middle Grade Medical Staff.
Qualifications:
* Full GMC Registration and License to Practice
* MRCP or equivalent
* Valid Certified Advanced Life Support Skills
Clinical Experience:
* Broad based experience in Dermatology
* Knowledge of UK hospital systems (or equivalent)
* Competence in Dermatology
* Safe and effective written and verbal communication skills
