An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Support Worker at Lindisfarne Court, Darlington to assist in the effective management, administration and co-ordination of the service.
The role will entail working on shift with the team of support workers and supporting the service manager/deputy service manager with effective day to day management and leadership of the service.
Lindisfarne Court is a purpose-built residential service that supports 13 adults with physical/learning disabilities.
Essential Criteria:
1. NVQ 3 or equivalent in care
2. Experience of working with vulnerable adults
3. Experience of positive behaviour support and supporting people with complex health needs
4. Experience of developing, reviewing and updating personal care plans
5. Experience of managing and developing staff
6. Promote health and wellbeing in people’s lives
7. Making everyday matter for the people we support
8. The ability to be curious, aspirational and outcome focused
9. Must be able to evidence effective leadership skills
10. Working knowledge of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry
11. Ability to motivate self and others
12. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional night shifts
13. Good working knowledge of IT including Microsoft Office packages particularly Word and Excel
14. A full valid driving license and use of own vehicle (Desirable)
