Location United Kingdom Lincolnshire Lincoln Remote vs. Office Hybrid (Remote/Office) Company Siemens Energy Limited Organization Gas Services Business Unit Distributed Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Not defined Job Title: Head of Turbine Blades and Vanes Reporting to: Head of SGT LCN Manufacturing Location: Lincoln UK A Snapshot of Your Day An exciting and challenging opportunity for a motivated leader to join the SGT Lincoln manufacturing team with responsibility for the management and strategic direction/development and delivery of manufactured turbine blades and vanes for SGT (plus AGT scope) with a team of circa 45 staff. Key to the role are ensuring HSE, people development, quality, OTD, financial performance, product cost, digital integration and volume flexibility requirements are achieved and further enhanced within the Turbine area and jointly across the manufacturing function in alignment with the rest of the manufacturing team. 3. Delivering Turbine Blade & Vane commitments on time and in full, exceeding the expectations of our internal & external customers (SGT & AGT). Further increase flexibility & agility in manufacturing to enable quick response to demand requirements from customers.
4. Delivery of engine program & Spares for Service and New unit, business results
5. Continually improving our product & process quality and quickly & effectively addressing causes of non-conformance
6. Reduction in NCC & improved robustness of process delivery
7. Identify investments and improvement activities required to maintain and improve manufacturing capability/efficiency and output for both the short and longer term.
8. Product cost, business results, delivery of engine program
9. Continuously improve business execution to generate budgets and then achieve required financial performance in Recoveries, Absorption, Overhead cost control, Resource management, and Cash. Drive cost out & work in conjunction with other managers across the business to improved efficiency in support of product competitiveness, productivity & financial performance.
10. Management, motivation, engagement and development of teams/individuals to drive business success, create an environment of continuous improvement, team working, good industrial relations and bring out the best in teams/individual performance. Ensure development & communication of appropriate business & manufacturing strategies enabling everyone to know their part in achieving success.

12. Ensure that required resources and processes (reliable, capable, cost effective) are available to meet the groups business requirements for both long and short term.
13. Contribute as part of the SGT LCN Management team to the manufacturing strategy development, communication & aligned deployment/implementation across manufacturing and support good team working within the wider team, support & Drive development of the wider OneSGT development.

23. 5 years man management experience of teams of over 20 people
24. Experience negotiating working within a multicultural environment
25. Graduate calibre (or with significant manufacturing experience)
26. 5 years management experience with large teams
27. Understanding and knowledge of the SGT product beneficial
28. Available for UK plus possible international travel
29. Understanding of continuous improvement and LEAN techniques
30. Management qualification desired
