Graduate Teaching Assistant - Psychology Background (SEN Focus)

Are you a Psychology graduate or undergraduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting? Do you have an interest in child development, behaviour, and supporting young people with additional needs? This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant in a welcoming Manchester primary school with a strong focus on inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
This role offers meaningful, real-world experience that's ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Therapists, or those looking to move into teaching or child-focused roles.
About the Role:
You will work alongside experienced educators and the school's SEN team to support pupils with a range of needs - including Autism, ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. This may include 1:1 support, small group interventions, and general classroom assistance.
Your understanding of psychology and behaviour will be valued and developed in this dynamic, rewarding environment.
