Head of Faculty Operations (SS13483) - Bath, BA2 7AYWe are seeking two experienced and collaborative Head of Faculty Operations; each role will provide operational leadership across one of the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Working closely with the Director of Operations, Dean, and senior colleagues, you will ensure the effective delivery of the Faculty’s academic, research, and student-facing activities.About the roleYou will help shape and implement Faculty priorities, lead the Faculty Operations Team, and ensure that operations are efficient, responsive, and aligned with University strategy. This role offers significant scope to influence how the Faculty functions and to enhance the experience of staff and students.Key responsibilitiesLead and manage the Operations Team, ensuring high-quality support across the Faculty’s academic departmentsSupport the development and delivery of Faculty strategiesOversee major projects and improvement initiativesStreamline processes and embed effective digital and operational practicesBuild strong relationships across the University and act as a trusted advisorChampion equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of Faculty operationsAbout youYou will bring substantial operational experience in Higher Education or a similarly complex environment, alongside:A strong record of strategic planning and project deliveryExcellent analytical, organisational, and communication skillsExperience leading and developing teamsConfidence working with senior stakeholdersA collaborative approach and commitment to inclusive practiceFurther informationThese roles are offered on a full time or part time (0.8fte) basis.
