B4 Team Medical Secretary in the Psychology Department in South Glasgow.
Shift pattern - Monday -Friday 9-5
The successful postholder will provide a high quality and comprehensive secretarial service to Clinical Psychologists working across a range of community and inpatient services in South Glasgow. You’ll also provide business admin/PA support to the Lead Psychologist in the sector and administrate various HR systems, such as SSTS and eess as their delegate.
The successful candidate will be a team player, have great attention to detail, and be highly motivated and enthusiastic. They’ll have advanced keyboard skills, a good command of verbal and written English, awareness of clinical terminology (or a willingness to learn skills in this area), and great organisational skills.
The successful candidate will show competence in the use of a range of computer packages evidenced by experience or formal qualification e.g. ECDL, possess a recognised qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration at Level 3, or significant relevant equivalent practical experience, be conversant with office procedures and systems, and able to demonstrate prior experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role. Related secretarial/administrative experience at a more junior level through which a thorough understanding of office procedures has been obtained. The successful candidate will be a valued member of the large and dynamic South Glasgow Psychology department, and will be line managed on a day-to-day basis by the Lead Psychologist for the sector.
