Overview
Delivery Postie with Driving – Permanent contract, part-time (30 hours per week). Working 5 days across Monday to Sunday, 09:30–15:30. Based at Morecambe Delivery Office, LA4 5DT. Some roles require Sundays on a rota basis due to operational demand.
Responsibilities
* Deliver orders to customers quickly and efficiently, ensuring food quality and presentation remains top-notch.
* Load your own vehicle and ensure orders for your customers are correct.
* Complete checks to keep the van organised, clean, roadworthy, and ensure delivery cases are secure before driving.
* Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance and health and safety standards.
* Deliver goods to customers in line with pre-set schedules and support safe and effective service delivery by liaising with the clinical team and other services when required.
* Maintain a positive customer service presence, acting as a friendly face in the community.
* Take pride in your work and contribute to a safe and reliable delivery operation.

What we’re looking for / Qualifications
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated; organized, punctual and dedicated to delivering great customer service.
* A people-person and friendly face in the community; comfortable working outdoors in any weather and walking for long periods.
* Strong sense of community and pride in your work.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points; current CPC card and ability to undertake heavy manual work are essential.
* LGV Driving Licence Class C and the skills to deliver to customers as per pre-set schedules; ability to load, check and deliver orders.
