Architectural Technologist Job in Chalk Farm, London\n\nWe're excited to share a new Architectural Technologist job in London. This position is with a respected developer known for their work in high-end residential properties and apartments across prime locations in the city.\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to work on a major regeneration scheme in Central London, transforming an urban site into a dynamic mixed-use development. The project includes a blend of luxury and affordable residential units, retail spaces, and leisure facilities, creating a high-quality living environment in one of the city's most vibrant areas.\n\nBringing together architecture, interior design, project management, and construction under one roof, they take full accountability for every aspect of their work.
With a team of 30 professionals, including Architects, Design Managers, Site and Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and a wider construction team, they are committed to raising the standards of new home construction through exceptional design and delivery.\n\nRole & Responsibilities\n\nDistinct focus on leading technical and delivery stages\nProduce technical detailing to a high standard for construction\nThe practice uses ArchiCAD BIM, which will be your main software\nExplore alternative detailing options, material take-offs, alternative procurement strategies\nWork closely with contractors/sub-contractors day-to-day\nUndertake value engineering exercises to obtain the most efficient, cost-effective, and best design solution\nSupport the contractor team through the build process.Required Skills & Experience\n\nMCIAT, CIAT or ARB registered with 5+ years' post-qualification experience\nStrong knowledge of building regulations and technical building design\nHigh-end internal detailing/coordination required alongside external experience\nResidential multi-unit experience\nOn-site experience\nExcellent ArchiCAD ability and up-to-date experience are preferred, applications without ArchiCAD will not be considered \nExcellent English, both written and verbal.What you get back\n\n£45,000 - £60,000 \n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nDiscretionary Christmas bonus\n1 day working from home per week.Apply\n\nIf you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
