A welcoming and supportive specialist school in Warrington is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school supports pupils across Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a particular focus on supporting students experiencing anxiety, autism, and challenging behaviour.

The Role - SEMH Teaching Assistant

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support pupils both 1:1 and in small groups. The role will involve helping students regulate their emotions, engage positively with learning, and develop strategies to manage behaviour and anxiety in a structured and supportive environment.

You will help deliver targeted interventions, support personalised learning plans, and build trusting relationships with pupils who benefit from consistent and calm support throughout the school day in this dynamic SEMH Teaching Assistant role.
