Specialist Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)

Overview
This role is part of the Mental Health AHP team, delivering specialist occupational therapy services to community and inpatient settings across the region. Working within the Annan Community Mental Health Team, you will travel between sites, provide evidence‑based assessments and interventions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver virtual and in‑person group work.
Responsibilities
* Conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults in community and inpatient mental health services.
* Deliver group therapy sessions both virtually and face‑to‑face, supporting therapeutic outcomes.
* Provide regular supervision, engage in learning and development, and contribute to service improvement projects.
* Maintain independence in traveling between sites and within the community; pool cars available.
Qualifications
* Registered occupational therapist with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Degree‑level qualification in occupational therapy.
* Valid driving licence and the ability to travel independently between sites.
