Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will take the lead in delivering complex, multi-faceted projects within our international portfolio. You’ll ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, governance, and technical excellence, while providing guidance and leadership to project teams and engaging with a diverse range of global stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, and resource schedules.
* Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Act as a key point of contact for internal teams, funders, industry partners, and patient organisations.
* Manage project finances and collaborate closely with our Finance team.
* Support junior team members and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative culture.
* Utilise project management tools such as MS Project and support data analysis activities.
Who We Are Looking For
You will have:
* A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* A formal project management qualification (PMQ/PMP preferred).
* At least 3 years’ experience managing complex projects, ideally in a supplier or healthcare/academic setting.
* Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, Agile/Scrum).
* Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
* Proficiency in MS Project and an awareness of data analysis tools (e.g., R Studio).
* Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
* A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
Experience in healthcare, rare disease research, or international multidisciplinary settings is desirable.

* Competitive Salary up to £45,000 depending on experience.
* Hybrid working – 2 days per week from home, 3 days in our Newcastle office.
