Job Role: Field Service Engineer (Hydraulic, Mechanical Systems)
Location: Milton Keynes (Accepting Applicants from surrounding counties)
The package

The Duties
* To attend breakdowns, service and PPM’s on an array of industrial scale compactor systems within the waste management industry.
* The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns)
* To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding alongside elements of hydraulic systems.
* To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
* Update job reports and order parts when necessary.
* Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed.
The Requirements
* Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous. Any previous experience with MIG/TIG Welding 0 Advantageous but not essential A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter, forklift engineer. Experience using electrical & mechanical tools. Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or field based engineer. Any experience surrounding hydraulic systems/hoses, mechanical fault finding & repair alongside some base electrical work.
