Hours: Sessional posts do not have guaranteed hours; the role provides additional cover over peak times, such as holiday periods and periods of absence.
You will be a key part of the team, supporting our core staff, and playing an active role in the set-up, delivery, and development of The Yard’s play and youth work provision, ensuring an approach that has the child and/or young person at its centre.

This job is for you if you have:
* Experience of working with children and young people in a play or youth work setting
* A demonstrable understanding of and commitment to the values of play and play work, and a commitment to inclusive play opportunities that hold the child at the centre
* A proven ability to work in a flexible and creative manner, as an individual and as part of a team
* Experience of liaising with parents, carers, and other professionals
