Where you will be working
Encyclis' Rookery South Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) is located near Stewartby, Bedfordshire, just off the M1 Motorway and 20 minutes from Milton Keynes.
This modern facility has been operational since January 2022, processing 585,000 tonnes of waste annually to generate electricity for approximately 112,000 homes.

Responsibilities
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and working closely with Mechanical and EC&I Team Leaders, the Maintenance Planner will ensure maintenance activities are completed safely and efficiently, following Encyclis procedures.
What we need from you…
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
* Plan, prioritize, and track all maintenance activities, raising work orders and requests.
* Create and communicate weekly and monthly CMMS reports to management.
* Coordinate maintenance and outage planning with onsite teams and departments.
* Collaborate with Inventory Control on spare parts and equipment availability.
* Plan and execute outages, ensuring safety and efficiency.
* Promote safety rules and safe work systems, adhering to all safety standards.
* Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents.
* Support maintenance strategies aligned with industry best practices.
* Obtain necessary procedures, risk assessments, and work packs for maintenance activities.
* Plan outages in compliance with CDM regulations, leading review meetings and reporting.
* Procure maintenance services and select qualified contractors.
* Manage the Management of Change (MOC) process, ensuring documentation and administrative compliance.
* Maintain accurate asset registers reflecting all changes and updates.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
* Higher National Diploma or NVQ Level 3/4 in a technical or science field, or relevant experience in energy recovery or large process plants.
* Engineering apprenticeship considered.
* Prince2 project management certification is a plus.
This role requires experience in:
* Maintenance planning and management in large industrial facilities.
* Using CMMS software.
* Managing contractors and work packages.
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 is desirable.
