The Role at a Glance Salary: £24,784.50 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Reporting to: Finance Director & Associate HR Director Location: Croydon, London. Occasional travel required on an ad hoc basis Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be a vital support system for our legal and HR functions, handling a diverse range of tasks : Case Management: Manage employee relations cases from intake to resolution, including taking notes at legal hearings and assisting with consultations. Legal Documentation: Draft and renew employment contracts, consultancy agreements, and ad hoc contractual letters (invite/outcome letters). Litigation Support: Assist in all phases of litigation, including drafting court documents, managing deadlines, and preparing bundles and witness statements for employment tribunals. Research & Liaison: Conduct comprehensive legal research on topics such as discrimination, harassment, and wage issues, and liaise with ACAS for early conciliation matters. Administrative Excellence: Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients to provide case updates. What Were Looking For Essential Skills: A strong specialization or interest in Employment Law. A solid understanding of UK legal procedures and terminology. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Desirable Skills: Previous experience as an Employment Paralegal or working within a commercial environment.
