Overview
As an Assistant Manager you will be key to supporting the General Manager in ensuring that our Inn feels like a home away from home for our guests. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead the team, manage daily operations, and create a welcoming and efficient environment for staff and guests. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily duties, lead a team to deliver company standards, and manage the Inns day-to-day operations. You should be hands-on and approachable, leading by example, and fostering a positive and collaborative atmosphere. This role requires handling shift operations in a busy, fast-paced environment, conducting administrative tasks, liaising with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers, stocktake and ordering, and accounts management. Occasional sleepovers and guest responses may be required. If you have a strong background in food and hospitality, a passion for customer service, and the ability to inspire and motivate a team, you could be a great fit for this role. This position encourages our assistant managers to lead, mentor, and create impactful results for the team. Offshore, on the seafront of Lytham St Annes, is a recently transformed destination offering home-made food, a wide range of drinks, and comfortable accommodation, within a vibrant coastal town.
Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor the hospitality team to uphold company standards and deliver a welcoming guest experience.
* Manage day-to-day operations, including shift planning, guest responses, and hands-on service in a busy environment.
* Liaise with Chefs, Management, and Suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
* Conduct stocktakes and ordering; manage accounts related tasks.
* Perform administrative duties and be available for occasional sleepovers as needed.
