Reporting to the Head of IT Risk Management & Controls, EMEA, this role provides management oversight and governance of Technology Risks and Controls globally, aligned with the firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Role Responsibilities
1. Support the implementation of the IT risk management framework and process, including the firm’s Enhanced Risk Management Framework (ERMF) globally.
2. Oversee risk reporting for core IT processes and provide regular group risk reports on KPIs/KRIs globally.
3. Ensure Technology policies comply with Group standards and are updated according to governance protocols.
4. Assist in preparing and supporting the Technology Risk Forum and regional Risk Committees for Technology data oversight.
5. Maintain the risk register (Riskonnect), including control requirements, attestations, assurance, issues, and events, and communicate with stakeholders and risk owners.
6. Manage controls development, attestations, remediation plans, and assurance programs to oversee key controls.
7. Collaborate on developing and enhancing tools for controls oversight within the 1st Line of Defence.
8. Support internal and external Technology audits, including preparation, remediation, validation, and responses.
Experience / Competences
* Extensive IT experience within Financial Services.
* Proven capabilities in risk management, results-driven, and team-oriented.
* Experience working in Risk Management, LOD, or IT functions.
* Deep understanding of Technology operations and functions.
* Strong ownership and accountability skills.
* Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, or pressured environments.
* Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including drafting formal correspondence.
