Offer description

To ensure successful delivery of styling (decorative accessories) projects, Styling and Accessory Buying is responsible for the following tasks:

* Research appropriate accessories based on the creative brief provided by the client or Project Manager. Accessories may include glassware, ceramics, sculptures, wall hangings, crafts, tapestries, etc.
* Create client-friendly presentations using the approved PowerPoint template.
* Prepare full budgets, including shipping costs and any applicable import/customs charges.
* Consider lead times to ensure project deadlines are met.
* Use the database fluently to manage information flow, send timely presentations and budget trackers, communicate delivery delays.
* Diligently manage the financial aspects of accessory procurement, including cost updates to monitor margin changes.


Procurement and Supplier Management

* Understand cost, pricing, gross margin, and budgeting per linear meter.
* Effectively manage existing supplier database to ensure maximising trade discounts; add new accounts to the supplier database as needed.
* Follow the goods-in log procedure to ensure accurate and consistent input for all ordered/received goods.
* Negotiate pricing and payment terms with suppliers.
* Follow internal procedures to ensure efficiency between Project Management, Finance, and Goods In/Out departments.


Logistics and Quality Control

* Manage the purchasing process: track orders, receive goods, unpack, perform quality control, allocate, and prepare items for dispatch.
* Monitor the process to ensure timely and high-quality delivery that meets client expectations.
* Maintain stock control for roll-out accessories and artificial planting, ensuring timely replenishment.
* De-label accessories and return unused items to stock pallets.
* Prepare accessories for installation and participate in on-site styling when budget allows.
* Manage pallet allocation in the storage area and maintain the area.
* Conduct quarterly stock checks of all accessories.
