The Kitchen Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and supporting chefs in their daily tasks.

Duties
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
* Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
* Support the cooking team during service by providing assistance as needed.
* Help with stock rotation and storage of food items to ensure freshness and compliance with health regulations.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment in accordance with food safety standards.
* Assist in receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately.
Skills
* Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is essential.
* Basic food preparation skills and knowledge of cooking techniques are advantageous.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
* A keen interest in hospitality and food, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
