About The Role
Senior SQL Analyst 12 Month FTC
This role sits within our Credit Management Department, which handles activity relating to the collection of unpaid energy bills (domestic & business) and other companies within the Ecotricity Group.
Reporting to the Head Of Debt Information and Risk, this technical role will require you to design, scope, develop, and deliver data solutions to meet stakeholder requests, while seeking opportunities to improve data insight.
About You
You will be an experienced data analyst with a proven track record in BI, data manipulation, and problem solving. You will have experience in building relationships and mentoring junior team members. The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey key information in digestible formats, providing delivery timescales, and managing stakeholders effectively.
Knowledge of the Energy industry is beneficial but not essential.

What Will You Bring
* Strong technical analytical skills as a Data Analyst.
* Experience managing and manipulating data.
* Proficiency in SQL for data analysis (MS-SQL/Databricks - T-SQL, view and table design, ETL experience).
* Expertise with PowerBI.
* Advanced MS Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivots).
* Stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
* Strong presentation skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
