Opportunity available for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work within Urgent Care, based in Harlow.
The team operates within an Urgent Care Centre, with the role primarily responsible for delivering evidence-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Nurse Prescriber will work autonomously across various clinical areas, including health promotion, chronic disease management, health prevention, and well-man clinics. Additionally, they will support the management team in reviewing clinical policies and procedures.
This role offers access to clinical supervision and guidance from a designated individual within the organization for daily support. The Nurse Practitioner will develop, implement, and evaluate health promotion and wellbeing programs, as well as create and review treatment plans for acute and non-acute conditions. They will also assist in developing management strategies for patients at risk of long-term conditions, aiming to prevent adverse health effects.
The role involves providing routine nursing care in accordance with clinical evidence, NICE guidelines, and NSF standards. Prescribing medication within scope and PGD, reviewing medication effectiveness, and supporting patients' medication needs are essential responsibilities.
Working Hours and Pay
The hours are Days/Evenings & Long Days.
Hourly rates:
* Monday to Friday: £44 per hour
* Saturday/Sunday: £46 per hour
