Offer description

My client is seeking a Senior Associate to join their leading Employment team in London. This is a high-profile, client-facing role offering the opportunity to work across a broad and sophisticated employment law practice. The team is recognised for its strength across both contentious and non-contentious matters, advising UK and multinational clients on complex and high-value employment issues.

The role offers clear career progression within a collaborative and high-performing team, with exposure to a diverse client base, including CBI-regulated entities, multinational corporations, and strategic projects across multiple sectors.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

* Act as the primary employment law advisor to a portfolio of clients, providing both day-to-day HR advisory support and strategic guidance on complex matters
* Manage employment litigation and tribunal claims, including high-value disputes
* Support transactional work such as M&A, divestments, and restructures, including TUPE and employee consultation processes
* Provide advice across all areas of employment law, including senior executives, reward, atypical working, trade unions, global mobility, and Irish/Northern Irish employment law
* Attend meetings, draft high-quality documentation, and supervise junior team members
* Deliver exceptional client service, proactively managing projects and building strong client relationships

About You

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

* 5–8 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law, ideally within a strong employment team
* Deep technical knowledge across general employment advisory, employment litigation, and senior executive matters
* Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
* Confidence managing work autonomously and taking responsibility for client deliverables
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
* A commercial, proactive, and client-focused approach, with the curiosity and ambition to develop further
* Ability to support and collaborate with colleagues while contributing to team growth and client development

What’s on Offer

* Competitive base salary
* 25 days’ annual leave, increasing by 1 day per year of service
* Private healthcare and dental (two levels of cover available)
* Individual performance bonus (up to 10%) and firm-wide bonus
* Comprehensive professional development and career progression opportunities
* Hybrid working model and supportive team environment
* This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer to join a market-leading team, acting on high-profile matters and contributing to the continued growth of a dynamic practice.
