What you will do
* Undertake occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and reviews to promote personal independence and daily living skills.
* Advise, teach, and support individuals and carers in overcoming disability and maximising independence.
* Recommend and provide standard and specialist equipment, and advise on adaptations to clients’ homes.
* Liaise with colleagues in health, social care, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated, multi-disciplinary support.
* Supervise and support Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as required.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, professional standards, and Council policies.
* Commit to safeguarding adults and upholding the Council’s Equality Policy.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Recent NHS experience.
* Registered with the HCPC.
