Planning Enforcement Officer needed in Nuneaton, £45ph PAYE - Reference: 5268129 Must be able and willing to travel throughout the borough To assist in the delivery of the planning enforcement service, in particular: a) Investigation of complaints and alleged breaches of planning control, to include site inspections, visits, undertaking observation and conducting interviews. b) Maintain full and accurate records of site visits, evidence collected. c) Giving advice to alleged offenders and complainants on planning and enforcement procedure, including progress on complaints in line with policies and protocols. d) Dealing with the discharges of conditions and monitoring implementation of development. Provide of advice and information to the public and other customers on enforcement matters, including by phone, in person, by letter and internally by reports to others including legal services. To carry out interviews and make accurate records under caution in accordance with procedures of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 or other related legislation. To draft and serve a range of enforcement notices, including Planning Contravention Notices, Breach of Condition Notices, Requisition for Information and Enforcement Notices, Temporary Stop Notices and Stop Notices. Prepare and give factual evidence at planning hearing and inquiries and court proceedings.
