Overview

We have a network of more than 8,500 service technicians to ensure maximum availability of Linde trucks and solutions, and a logistics network that guarantees spare part delivery within 24 hours. We are currently looking for a Workshop Field Service Engineer to join our team in the North Birmingham area, covering the WV postcode region.
We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers who have experience in forklift technology or related fields. Experience within plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles or industrial cleaners may be relevant to this role. You will work with a range from small pallet trucks to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks, diagnosing faults, undertaking repairs, and performing preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.

What we are looking for
To be considered for this role, you will need experience in at least one of the following areas:
* Mechanical engineering
* Electrical engineering
* Hydraulics
Ideally you will have an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification, although this is not essential.
You will need to be IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders. You must hold a full UK driving licence.
